Camp Thoreau is a traditional day camp that has been engaging campers ages 4 - 15 in a variety of outdoor activities since 1951. With a focus on fun, skill building and character development, camp programming is tailored to ensure every child leaves camp smiling and ready for more fun-filled days. Our natural, outdoor environment is the perfect setting for our low and high ropes course, two swimming pools (shallow and deep), playing fields, archery range and plenty of rainy day space. It's no wonder campers and staff return every year - they know that every day is a great day at Camp Thoreau!
