Camp Laurel is one of New England’s premier coed resident camps, featuring one 6.5-week session. Located in the Belgrade Lakes region of Maine, Camp Laurel provides a summer experience built on community, high-quality instruction and an unwavering commitment to each camper’s well-being. Our 6-part core program – Athletics, Waterfront, Tennis, Adventure, Inter-Arts and Equestrian – affords campers the opportunity to participate in a highly structured curriculum of guided-choice skill progression promoting confidence, character development and personal growth. Camp Laurel’s campus features world-class facilities and 2,000 feet of shoreline on Echo Lake. Our staff is composed of experienced educators, coaches and college students, from the U.S. and abroad, all of whom share a common goal: to inspire, support and care for children in a safe, fun and inclusive environment. For 40 years, Camp Sunshine has provided hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free.
