CAMP SEQUOIA Competitors

Camp Courageous is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides year-round recreational, respite, and travel opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Camp Courageous offers a variety of services including weeklong camp sessions, respite weekends, family camp sessions, outdoor experiential sessions, and travel program. The camp operates primarily on donations without government assistance, formal sponsorship, or paid fundraisers. On an annual basis, Camp Courageous serves thousands of individuals with disabilities ranging in age from 1 to 105.

For 40 years, Camp Sunshine has provided hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free. Camp Friendship is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains on 520 acres of rolling hills and scenic woods in central Virginia. Since 1966 Camp Friendship offers boys and girls, ages 7-16, an opportunity to experience the best summer possible. Increased self-esteem, making new friendships and gaining social competence, learning to work as part of a team, responsibility and building positive values are just some of the life skills gained from participating in Camp Friendship programs....and it's fun!
