Once used to produce Model Ts and Army missiles, this 76-acre historic industrial site now serves as a hub for creativity and innovation in the heart of Charlotte’s North End Smart District. Camp North End is Charlotte’s largest adaptive reuse project, a unique space where entrepreneurs, artists, and community builders connect and create like never before. Camp North End’s most historic building, the Ford Building, was designed by famed Detroit architect Albert Kahn and built in 1924. It originally served as a Model T and Model A production facility and automobile showroom.
