Camp Newaygo Information

Camp Newaygo was founded and still operates as an all girls’ overnight camp in order to address inequitable access to the outdoors for girls and women. Building upon that tradition, the camp aims to increase the diversity of all of its programs and participants. Camp Newaygo has shown that the summer camp experience increases resilience, independence, love of nature, and self confidence. Their passion for inclusivity and social justice dates back to 1926.
