For 40 years, Camp Sunshine has provided hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free. Trail's End Camp represents the finest in co-ed residential summer camping. Located in the Northeast Pennsylvania, approximately 2 hours from New York City and minutes from the Delaware River, we are home to state-of-the-art facilities, traditional camp values and a welcoming family atmosphere. We offer exciting programs, focusing on Athletics, Crafts & Technology, Water Sports, and Outdoor Adventure. Trail’s End provides athletes and artists the ability to succeed, grow, be carefree and enjoy the endless fun-filled days of summer. Every camper is valued as an individual, encouraged to try new things and has the opportunity to create their own unique Trail’s End Experience. Green River Preserve is a co-ed summer camp connecting children with nature. Mission The mission of Green River Preserve is to provide a challenging and nurturing learning experience and to inspire a deep appreciation of interconnectedness, ecological respect, and the joy of living. Description Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, Green River Preserve summer camp offers programs for campers in the rising 2nd-12th grades. Accredited by the American Camp Association, our unique program includes daily hikes on a private 3,400 acre wildlife preserve. Campers enjoy a selection of over 20 daily activities including fly fishing, rock climbing, creative arts, mountain biking, canoeing, and kayaking.
