Camp Karma Information

We offer 36 primitive campsites ideal for tent campers, small trailers, and pop-ups up to 25 to 28 feet. The campground borders Goose Creek, a great place for fishing and swimming. Our onsite pond also offers catch and release fishing, which is always a big hit with the kids. Additional amenities include fishing, swimming, hiking trails, outhouses, private bathrooms, 20/30 amp electric hookups, picnic tables, and graveled parking. Our camp store has everything you need for your stay including firewood, ice, and drinking water. Located between Roanoke and Lynchburg, Camp Karma offers a "back to nature" approach to camping and family entertainment. Our campground is secluded within the Smith Mountain Lake landscape, offering peace, tranquility, and incredible mountain views. Our heavily wooded campsites give our guests privacy and a true primitive camping experience complete with open skies accompanied by the sights and sounds of nature. And when you're ready to venture off-site to explore all that Smith Mountain Lake has to offer, we're within minutes of popular area attractions including restaurants, museums, shopping centers, cinemas, marinas, and wineries.
