The mission of Victory Junction is to enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, in a safe and medically-sound environment at no cost to campers and their families.

Unity House provides transitional and permanent housing, respite care, and rehabilitative and employment services for individuals with mental illnesses, developmental/intellectual disabilities, and/or chemical dependencies from which they are recovering. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1977, Unity House partners with these individuals to develop their personal skills and potential, enabling them to live more full and independent lives. The agency is committed to providing consumer-centered and consumer-driven services, programs, and supports, serving more than 700 consumers a day in six central New York counties (Cayuga, Tompkins, Wayne, Onondaga, Seneca, and Ontario). Unity House also seeks to free our communities of misconceptions associated with disabilities through innovation, education, and advocacy. Unity House’s headquarters are located in Auburn, New York. The agency employs more than 300 people and is licensed by the New York State Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), the New York State Department of Health (DOH), and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). For 40 years, Camp Sunshine has provided hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free.
