For 40 years, Camp Sunshine has provided hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free. Camp Danbee is a full season residential summer camp for girls. It is a Girl’s World at Danbee. We strive to prepare girls to “take on the world” through passion and perseverance. Danbee empowers campers to set and achieve goals. Everything we do at camp is designed to motivate and encourage each girl to be her best self. Danbee programming allows girls to build life-skills that they will utilize the rest of their lives. Strong, resilient women are what Danbee works to nurture. And from all reports …. We do!!! At Danbee, the goal is to provide girls with a summer experience filled with moments of self-discovery and spirited activity. Instilled with the tradition of warmth, caring and companionship, Danbee is a place where summer relationships are born and lifelong friendships develop. Challenges are faced head on and girls are encouraged to learn from their mistakes and achieve their goals through perseverance and team work. Danbee’s state-of-the-art facilities set on the spectacular Lake Ashmere in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts provide a backdrop for quality instruction and personal attention, ensured by Danbee’s low (1:3) counselor/camper ratio. Our emphasis on skill development and participation over competition gives girls a chance to succeed, to build self-confidence, and to grow at their own pace.

Camp Zeke is an overnight summer camp for 7 to 17 year-olds. Campers choose from fitness, athletics, and culinary electives while being immersed in a community of peers who are dedicated to leading a vibrant, joyful, and energized lifestyle. Our elective-based program allows campers to focus on personal goals, such as running faster, becoming stronger, getting better at sports, or learning to cook impressive dishes. The type of healthy living that campers experience at Zeke has a positive impact on every aspect of their lives, from happiness to academic success. After a few summers in our warm, mentor-filled community, kids build a commitment to wellness that becomes part of their Jewish identity, and they live Zeke’s lessons for the rest of their lives.
