Camp AK Information

Our mission is to empower student athletes by equipping them with the advanced foundational tools needed for athletic performance and for life, and to ready them for collegiate success. We don’t focus on one specific sport – we focus on the foundational skills and attributes that are key to success in any and every sport. We improve an athlete’s performance by teaching advanced structural skills. We work to maximize an athlete’s talents, skills, fitness level, and mental readiness. We coach athletes to be the best they can be, and show them how to reach the next level. And most importantly, we teach, and model, the core values that take an athlete far – not just in sports, but in life. We believe that while sport-specific training is important, it can also be one-dimensional. It can lack the basic to advanced functional skills needed to maximize athletic performance. In addition, standard training often fails to incorporate the life skills that develop the whole person – someone who shines on the field, court, or track, and off. Camp AK also stands apart because we help campers navigate high school athletic options and prepare for potential college recruitment – something rarely found at typical sports camps.
