Cameron Highlanders Information

The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa Foundation has undertaken a project to fund a comprehensive Regimental History and needs the support of the Regimental family to do so. Dr. Ken Reynolds, our museum curator, has been contracted to write the history and it is envisioned that the final product will consist of eight chapters for a total of 300 pages. The final book will be presented by 15 November 2004. The Foundation has committed to raise 100,000$ for this project, 25% of which has already been pledged or received, within the Regimental family and through corporate and foundation support. It is well recognized that The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa is a Regiment rich in accomplishments and proud keeper of a distinguished military heritage. All Camerons, both serving and retired, should consider supporting this project, for we know first hand the importance of the Regiment's historical significance and traditions.
