CAMC Information

Founded in 2004, the University is committed to providing non-clinical learning and organization development solutions at Charleston Area Medical Center. Our goal is to build organizational talent to enable the fulfillment of CAMC's Mission of "Striving to provide the best health care to every patient, every day." The CAMC Leadership System is the foundation for all that we do. The University works in partnership with leaders, human resources and education to provide a "pathway" throughout the CAMC Health System to build leadership competency and capacity. We also provide offerings for all CAMC employees to further their development. Strong capable leadership is an imperative for a strong capable workforce. A strong capable workforce is key to our success! Our staff is here to support CAMC on that journey.
