CambridgeWear has been a popular women's clothing boutique serving the Acton area for over 20 years. Co-owners since 2006, local women Liz Christo and Sherry Ryder thoroughly enjoy continuing the traditions that have been established over the years while bringing new energy and updating the traditional fashion that has been the hallmark of this specialty boutique. According to owner Sherry Ryder, "CambridgeWear has always offered a mix of unique contemporary and traditional clothing and accessories. When you buy an outfit at a chain store you wonder if you'll see yourself at an event. That doesn't happen when you shop at CambridgeWear. Sherry was a chain store sales associate after leaving Digital Equipment/Compaq where she was a Human Resources Manager for 20 years. She has been an Acton resident for over 30 years and knows the CambridgeWear customer well. Partner Liz Christo also recognizes the CambridgeWear customer's needs as she has been an Acton resident for 20 years. She came to the store with retail management experience from Bloomingdale's Fashion Apparel Store in Chestnut Hill. It was a lifelong dream of hers to be an owner of a specialty boutique such as CambridgeWear.
