Cambridge Management Sciences has been assisting organisations to improve their organisational effectiveness and turn strategy into results since 2002. Our clients include large corporations such as HSBC, Reckitt Benckiser and Bank of New York; major non-profits such as the Health Foundation; and international firms such as Röhlig Logistics (Germany), and Sharaka Holdings (Qatar). Our work is collaborative, involving client personnel, developing their competency and capability through the transfer of knowledge and skills supported by coaching and mentoring. Although 60-75% of our work is for existing clients, it consists of predominantly new project work. Our engagements are usually completed within six to twelve months. We work against specific objectives with clearly established outcomes and timing, contributing to client business goals. Our experience and results indicate that improved performance requires investment in people, systems and support structures. However, that investment does not require additional resources, but rather the redeployment of talents, resources and expertise that are already present. We use an evidence-based approach in our consultancy, coaching and learning & development practices that delivers significant benefits to our clients. It enables us to help our clients develop effective and adaptable organisations through using the best information available. That can be ‘hard’ information in management science or ‘soft’ information in the human sciences – no fads and no fuzziness.
