Cam Sight Information

CamSight is the Cambridgeshire charity supporting local people of all ages living with low vision and blindness to live the lives they choose. We work in partnership with local people, helping them to achieve the possibilities they choose in life. Client choice and control are central to our purpose and we support c.2,000 people of all ages, life stages and circumstances from our centre in Cambridge and via our mobile outreach services the bring our support to the community. Our services have been developed to enhance the independence, improve the well-being, and increase the inclusion of people living with blindness and low vision across the county. These include peer support groups; Low Vision Equipment and Accessibility support; outreach teams to visit people in their homes and communities; volunteer befriending and opportunities for taking part in sport and leisure activities Pilates, garden walks and museum visits.
