CALYER Information

We are production company/directing team specializing in comedic commercials and branded content. Over the last 7 years CALYER has directed and produced spots for (among others) Toyota, SimpliSafe, Kayem, Navy Federal, and Meineke. We have had the pleasure of collaborating with agencies and production companies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Connelly Partners, Hill Holiday, and Element. In 2020, we written up in AdWeek about making commercials during the pandemic and in 2021 won an Emmy for Best Commercial for our work on a campaign for Kayem Bacon. Calyer was informally formed at Syracuse University where we met as film majors. After graduating we all found ourselves in NYC working in various capacities in the film business. From location scouting, to production design, to camera department, to production accounting, to improv troops. We collectively have a diverse range of experience in creating and producing that when combined makes us a very unique creative force.
