Cali Rice Fest Information

Hosted by The University of California at Davis and City of Davis, this free, weekend outdoor festival will feature international and regional rice-based cuisine, cooking demos and tastings by regional wine, craft beer and sake makers. Attendees will learn about the contribution of rice farming on Northern California’s ecology and have the opportunity to get their hands and feet dirty through hands-on agricultural learning experiences. The event will also feature music, dance and other performances celebrating the region’s multicultural heritage, as well as that of rice consuming cultures across the globe.
