Calgary Heritage Authority Information

The Calgary Heritage Authority (CHA) is a charitable arms-length Civic Partner of the City of Calgary established in 2000. The CHA advises City Council on all matters relating to heritage in Calgary. The CHA also evaluates potential heritage sites for inclusion on the Inventory of Evaluated Historic Resources. The CHA works to ensure that the Calgary heritage sector is well organized, collaborative and efficient in its efforts to promote the understanding of and broaden citizen participation in Calgary’s heritage.
