Set up a Community Land Trust, which is a community cooperative. 2. Issue cooperative shares to raise funds from ethical investors. 3. Purchase homes from families facing repossession or from the open market. 4. Let homes back to distressed families or those on low income at fair rent. 5. Tenants can buy their home, one share at a time, without debt. 6. The more shares the tenants own, the less rent they need to pay. 7.
