Calcon was established in 1992 to serve the P&I industry. The company evolved over the years, and has variously added independent inspection and testing of petroleums and petrochemicals, logistics management of the same products, and road transportation to its portfolio. As of 2017, the latter services have been dispensed with, and we focus today on consulting to maritime lawyers, P&I Clubs, tanker owners, Charterers, and Insurers on marine matters particularly relating to navigation. We also conduct Navigation Assessments and internal ISM/ISPS/MLC audits. The Company is wholly- owned by Captain Mike Melly, who is a current and serving Master.
