Cake Box was started around 1993 and initially operated out of the Left Bank Hotel kitchens, for a period of time. Within a year or so of starting, it had outgrown its then home and it moved to the present location in O'Connor, Perth. Cake Box prides itself in its reputation of being one of the first specialized cake producers of cakes to the Cafe market, and then adding wedding cakes to the portfolio a few years later.
