The Cajun Clickers Computer Club was formed in August 1989 by a small group of employees at Gulf States Utilities Nuclear plant in St. Francisville, Louisiana. The original focus of the group was the purchase of 5-1/2 inch floppy disks at volume discount pricing. It soon became apparent that the group had varied interest and experience with PC’s and wanted to expand their knowledge. They decided to meet on a regular basis to begin sharing their knowledge with each other. Thus the motto “Sharing the Knowledge” was created and has been in existence ever since. The club now has a membership exceeding 1650 families in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. Membership is open to the general public.
