Cairo Engineering Ltd. (CEL) is a Winnipeg-based engineering practice serving Manitoba with structural engineering, building design, and construction support. We help homeowners, builders, architects, engineers, and project teams develop safe, practical, and cost-efficient solutions. Led by Ramon C. Cairo, P.Eng., CEL brings together engineering analysis and hands-on construction experience. Ramon’s 39+ years of professional experience span the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Saipan, and Canada, with exposure to residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural buildings, bridges, and related structures. This combination of design and field experience informs our approach: understand existing conditions, establish clear load paths, and develop details that can be built efficiently. Our services include: • Structural analysis and design for new construction, renovations, and additions. • Existing-building assessments, repairs, and strengthening. • Roof-framing assessments for added mechanical equipment, including steel joist and wood-framed roofs. • Building design, drafting, permit drawings, shop drawings, and 3D rendering. • Building Code and Energy Code review. • Scaffolding and temporary-structure design. • Site reviews and construction coordination.
