Cafe Liberty will assist veterans who are unemployed or underemployed and looking to enter the culinary field. This program will professionally train participants for a lifetime career in the food service industry and/or serve as a bridge to an advanced culinary institution at no cost to the veteran. A DD214 is required to enroll. This 11 week program will be offered three times annually, dates to be determined. Our curriculum has been developed by Chef Cheryl Corrado, former Executive Chef at CHIC (Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago- Le Cordon Bleu). She will serve as the primary Chef Instructor at Cafe Liberty.
