Cafe Hiro is a reliable outstanding experience. Besides the delicious and eclectic menu, the service quality and attention to detail of the staff are top notch. I just wish I could come here more often. There's no place I'd rather be, every time I'm here. From ambience to atmosphere the vacation my palate embarks on. We always start with one or two sautéed mushroom salad appetizers. The Uni Pasta is the best you'll find in SoCal, and honestly better than what I've had in Japan, though I haven't tried all of them there. Love the ume shiso pasta as well, and the bread pudding is cosmic, worthy of bucket list foods...not exaggerating. This place is awesome! It's a Japanese Italian Fusion experience.
