Pizzeria Libretto began in 2008 on Ossington Avenue, inspired by the rich Neapolitan pizza tradition of Naples, Italy. As one of the first restaurants in Toronto to serve VPN-certified pizza, crafted under the strict standards of the Napoli government, we set out to deliver a true southern Italian dining experience. Over the years, Libretto has grown to five locations across Toronto, evolving our menu with fresh ingredients and diverse cooking styles while staying true to our core values: simple, high-quality food made with heart. Under the leadership of Executive Chef Rocco Agostino, our commitment to authenticity, community, and Canadian-sourced ingredients remains stronger than ever. In 2020, Pizzeria Libretto expanded into the retail space with a dedicated production facility and a fast-growing frozen pizza program—now available in over 80 retailers across Ontario, including Farm Boy, Loblaws, and Fortinos. This next chapter has allowed Libretto to deliver restaurant-quality pizza into homes across the province.
