Established in 2008. Cafe dawn proudly serves organic and fair-trade Allegro coffee, espresso and loose tea. Organic bagels, quiche and other baked goods are made in house using local ingredients. Gluten-free and dairy-free options are available. Open since 2008, café dawn has been voted BEST coffee shop in Salida by the community every year. Dawn and Phillip met working at Vic's, a coffee shop in Boulder, Colorado. With dreams of one day owning their own coffee shop, Dawn and Phillip made the move to Salida, Colorado in search for the perfect location. On December 4, 2008, café dawn was born in a garage on the west side of downtown! After 9 years of hard work, Dawn and Phillip were able to purchase the perfect location and moved the coffee shop to 122 E 1st.
