Phil Romano founded Macaroni Grill on a simple belief. The very first TACO DEL MAR® (TDM) restaurant opened its doors on June 8, 1992 on Pier 57 in Seattle’s historic Waterfront District creating a marriage of the Mission style burrito and Seattle’s own renown seafood.
