The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families and individuals experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves. Since its founding more than 40 years ago, the organization has earned state and national recognition for its integrated healthcare, housing, and service programs. The Coalition’s comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 18,000 individuals and families each year. Positions at the Coalition span more than 50 programs and offer a variety of employment opportunities in a trauma-informed environment. We value staff development and training, within a culturally diverse workforce, that promotes innovative thinking and creative approaches to out work. Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is a 501(c) (3) organization that delivers meaningful news, music and cultural experiences to everyone in Colorado using the power of the human voice in all its forms. CPR’s services include CPR News, CPR Classical, Indie 102.3, KRCC and Denverite. CPR News and KRCC deliver in-depth, insightful and impartial news and information from around the world, across the nation and throughout Colorado, examining its relevance to our state and connecting it to our community. CPR Classical takes listeners on an in-depth exploration of thoughtfully curated music — with an emphasis on Colorado’s classical community — providing context to a broad range of meaningful and compelling works from past to present. Indie 102.3 is an independent music discovery platform that elevates Colorado-based music, musicians and experiences, connects audiences with artists, and showcases the work of women and diverse artists who are not yet receiving the attention they deserve. Denverite is an online news source dedicated to Denver's curious and concerned.
