Today it’s the Italian best known company for creating real anthropometric body models, leader for technologies, consultancies and solutions for the Textile/ Apparel Industry, Puericulture products' manufacturers and Testing laboratories. Cad Modelling best known products are the Formax®, test dummies produced according to the Theory of Body Shapes - developed by Silvio Quattrocolo - created in order to guarantee each fit worldwide. Based on body identification surveys on world bases, Formax® are excellent fitting tools, “real anatomies” which help the clothing industry achieving products fully tailored to the customer’s requirements. Formax® assure the apparel and puericulture products' manufacturers the development of garments and technical tools the best fit and ergonomics standards, thus increasing customer satisfaction: since proper fit avoids unsold stocks and supports brand loyalty. More than 400 companies, textile-testing laboratories, research institutes all over the world use Cad Modelling Ergonomics solutions based on the Theory of Body Shapes. In 2005 Cad Modelling joined CEN (European Committee for Standards), as official Italian member of WG10 TC 248, working on prEN 13402-4 “ Size designation of clothes”.
