Cabana Information

Cabana is a Spanish privately held company. We research and invest into key industries and into areas of high growth. In essence, we are business angels. But we also develop our own businesses when we don't find one prime for investment in a particular area. You've probably never heard of us before. That’s because we don't like to make a big fuss of where we invest. We prefer it that way. For us, the projects themselves are the main thing. So far we are present in Renewable Energy, Biotechnology & Pharma (particularly genetics and neuroscience), Media (music), Entertainment and Interior Design… We put our money where our mouth is… And we're just getting started! At Cabana we come across hundreds of ideas every week. A few of those can be even considered “good” ideas. A good idea isn't guarantee of success, however. What makes a good idea work is bringing together business knowledge, financing, effective project management and a generous pinch of passion. We know what it takes… we've seen it happen dozens of times. That is why we are planning to use all the experience we've accumulated over the years through the successes – and the failures too! - to set up a fast-track business incubator in Madrid that will help us expand ten-fold the projects that we back up with either money or time. We are a lean, agile, fast-growing company. We have a global perspective and a plethora of international influence: most members of our team have lived and worked in very different countries for lengths of time.
