Designcraft Ltd is a composite engineering company founded in 2001 and with a turnover in 2015 of £1m. Primarily focused on blade design and manufacturing research for the wind industry we have transferred our expertise and knowhow from wind to the design and prototyping of tidal blade technology. We have now made full size blades for Tidal Energy's Deltastream device being installed off the Pembrokeshire coast in 2016 and full size blades for Scotrenewable's SR2000 device being installed in 2016 at the European Marine Energy Centre in Orkney. We also produce tooling, moulds and components for the high performance yachting industry. At our works on the quayside in Southampton, England we have: 200m² composites workshop 150m² CNC workshop with a Belotti 5-axis milling machine, 4 x 2.6 x 1.3m and a Greda 3-axis milling maching, 2.5 x 1.2 x 0.2m.
