C & H Associates has professional tax preparers on staff. Charles Homolka, E.A. is the owner of C & H Associates. He has been in the industry since 1986. He is authorized by the Internal Revenue Service to legally represent before the IRS in response to letters, audits and appeals. the initials E.A. stand for Enrolled Agent. This is the term the IRS uses for a person who passes the rigorous Special Enrollment exam offered by the Treasury Department. Persons passing this exam may legally represent clients before the IRS. Thea Wallace is a Registered Tax Preparer with the Internal Revenue Service. She was initially trained by Mr. Homolka. *Feb 2012 Update* Thea is taking family leave to take care her mother who needs care 24/7. Filling in for her is Donna Reith who is on staff as receptionist and processor. She is a very good and diligent employee. She handles herself well with the clients and on the telephone! Both Mr. Homolka and Ms. Wallace attend seminars in the off season to keep up on the latest changes in the tax law. C & H Associates is committed to providing accurate work at a fair price. We strive to stay current with the law changes. Believe us, it has not been easy to do for the last 10 years, and especially in the last 6 years or so. Few tax preparers stand behind their work.
