bwt is a London-based design company specialising in interior design, architecture and brand creation. bwt was founded in 2011 by British designer, Ben Thompson. Ben has over fifteen years’ experience within the high-end residential and hospitality sectors, including 5 years as Studio Director at Studioilse. Most recognised for designing the award-winning hotel Heckfield Place, the growing team is quietly delivering a diverse range of projects across the globe. bwt is particularly adept at understanding and reinvigorating rural estates; re-establishing or reinventing existing buildings as an important part of the process. bwt’s signature aesthetic is one of understated elegance and effortless design, resulting in a lightness of impact that subtly speaks of the people and places at the core of the projects. bwt’s projects are distinct for their breadth of scope, encompassing not just architecture and interior design but also place-making, brand-creation and experience-building. As well as client-based work, bwt is engaged in its own design-led developments.
