BWRx Studio Information

BWRx Studio is a Chattanooga, Tennessee nonprofit building the nuclear workforce pipeline — starting at the high school level. Our flagship program, NUCLEUS (Nuclear Understanding and Career Launch in Energy for U.S. Students), is a three-course online nuclear physics sequence built on DOE Fundamentals Handbooks and delivered through Google Classroom. NUCLEUS I — Classical Nuclear Physics & Reactor Theory — launches August 10, 2026. NUCLEUS is open to high school students, homeschool families, and adult career changers. One Carnegie Unit in Nuclear Engineering Technology. No prior experience required. BWRx Studio was founded by Randy Steele — Licensed Senior Reactor Operator, 45 years of nuclear experience, 35 years at TVA's Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, and faculty at Chattanooga State Community College.
