Der Bundesverband der Campingwirtschaft in Deutschland e.V. (BVCD e.V.) wurde am 10. November 2000 als Dachverband und Interessenvertretung der Camping- und Wohnmobilstellplatzunternehmer zur Förderung des Campingtourismus in Deutschland gegründet. Mitglieder des BVCD e.V. sind 11 Campingverbände der Bundesländer sowie eine Stellplatz- und Campingplatzgemeinschaft. Insgesamt vertritt der Bundesverband mehr als 1.200 Campingplätze in Deutschland.
