It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to create a great liqueur—but the experience doesn’t hurt, either. Founded by neurosurgeon Joshua Ammerman and his wife Alyssa, Butterfly Spirits was born out of the couple’s shared love of cocktails. Owned and operated spirits company based in Bethesda, MD that has created a unique floral vodka, a ready-to-drink canned cocktail, a hazelnut whiskey, and a botanical liquor.
