BURN FOUNDATION Information

For nearly forty (40) years, the Burn Foundation has worked to benefit the Philadelphia community by preventing fires and burn injuries, supporting our regional burn centers, and to advocating for burn survivors and their families. We are proud to coordinate many of our efforts with the burn centers at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Temple University Hospital, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, and Lehigh Valley Hospital. We are also supported by a network of volunteer organizations, corporate philanthropists, firefighters, and government grants. Our efforts focus on four (4) main goals: Prevention Providing burn and fire prevention programs to schools and other community organizations; Developing and distributing media, articles and special reports on burn prevention topics; Providing burn prevention information to high-risk audiences including senior citizens and families with young children
