Butterfly Pavilion is the first stand-alone, Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited non-profit invertebrate zoo in the world and a leader in invertebrate knowledge, inspiration and connection. Butterfly Pavilion exists to foster an appreciation of invertebrates by educating the public about the need to protect and care for threatened habitats globally, while conducting research for solutions in invertebrate conservation. Visit www.butterflies.org to learn more.
Butterfly Conservation is a leading charity and the world’s largest organisation dedicated to the conservation of butterflies and moths.
Our mission is to halt and then reverse the decline of butterflies and moths. By achieving this goal we can help create a healthier environment in which we all can live.
Butterflies and moths are a vital part of our wildlife heritage and they are valuable indicators of the health of our environment. Our surveys reveal that they continue to decline at a rate that is faster than most other well-documented groups of plants and animals. Our work will benefit other wildlife and the ecosystems upon which all life depends.
Butterfly Conservation’s research advises people how to conserve and restore habitats. We run programmes for more than 100 threatened species and are involved in conserving hundreds of sites and reserves.

Creature Features has served the creators and collectors of science fiction, fantasy and horror as one of the film & TV industry's most comprehensive resources of memorabilia for over thirty years. Affectionately named after the local early 1970s syndicated package of sci-fi/horror movies shown on KTTV in Los Angeles, the one-man enterprise run by Taylor White (then still a sophomore in high school) began in 1977 as an answer to the merchandising demands of Star Wars and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The successful cinematic returns of Star Trek and Superman soon followed, causing White's humble boutique to expand into original movie posters, lobby cards, still photographs, books, magazines, CDs and more. Creature Features quickly became both a permanent fixture at numerous conventions throughout Southern California and a full-service mail order operation. After a brief stint in comics under the name of Emerald City Comics & Collectibles in 1993, Creature Features officially opened its doors to the public in Burbank on Halloween, 1994 and helped usher in the fresh explosion of interest in garage kits, the resurrection of classic Universal Monsters, the return of Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine and the rabid fan base of Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. Those were charmed years, as customers came from all over the world to partake in the unique selection of model kits, toys, fanzines, rare soundtracks, import books, original artwork and more. The store also hosted monthly events with guests like writer/director Peter Jackson, author Ray Bradbury, artist Bernie Wrightson, and composers Danny Elfman, James Newton Howard and Basil Poledouris (to name a few). In 1999, White left Creature Features to embark on a career as a soundtrack producer with his own label, ...
