Lyndhurst Primary School is a new school located in the Marriott Waters Estate in Lyndhurst. The school opened for all levels, Prep-6, in 2011. Lyndhurst is a Public/Private Partnership School that lies in the south-eastern growth corridor, in the City of Casey. The school opened in 2011 with approximately 150 students and rapid growth is highly likely in the first few years of its existence. Lyndhurst Primary School, like several other schools around the state, is part of a new partnership agreement between the Victorian State Government and Axiom Education, a private consortium. Whilst Axiom and its partners are responsible for the construction and on-going maintenance of the school facility, in every other respect, Lyndhurst is a state government primary school. In essence, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) lease the property from the private consortium over a 25 year lease period.
Since 2008, Lynbrook School of Music has been providing excellent and exciting instruction to our students. Our team of instructors are motivated by their love of music and the passion to transfer their knowledge and skills to others so their creativity and talent can shine. Lynbrook School of Music was created through the need to provide additional musical tuition to students of Lynbrook Primary School, beyond that which they were experiencing in their grade music classes. After numerous parent requests, Lynbrook School of Music commenced in March 2008 with an initial enrolment of 25 in Keyboard, Guitar and Drum lessons. This number now exceeds 100 students including those learning Flute, Violin and Singing. We provide music lessons for all ages from Lynbrook and surrounding areas, including Hampton Park, Cranbourne, Hallam, Dandenong, Narre Warren, Lyndhurst, and Skye. Our professional teachers provide tuition in Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Singing, Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Violin, Flute and Clarinet.
