Bungalux was started by Alex Brunkhorst, a high-end Los Angeles real estate agent, as a small email newsletter for her clients and friends to give them information about houses. Once the readership began to grow, Alex decided to expand Bungalux to include a web destination for all things having to do with high-end homes and real estate. Bungalux offers original content from Bungalux editors and guest editors, including celebrities and world renowned designers and architects. In addition, Bungalux offers buyers, agents, and sellers a beautiful, user-friendly way to view and search the best real estate in the world. All listings on Bungalux are chosen by Bungalux editors; Bungaluxes can be modern or traditional, expensive or inexpensive, in rural towns or urban cities ... the only criteria is that they're in some way great. Alex Brunkhorst, Bungalux's Founder, has represented Los Angeles home sellers and buyers in over $100 million of real estate transactions and is consistently one of the top producing agents in the country. Alex has been featured in numerous publications including the LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Women's Wear Daily, Angeleno Magazine, Lucky Magazine, and US Magazine. She graduated from Georgetown University Cum Laude with a degree in Economics. Alex divides her time between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
