what is a bumble + fox? Well, those are my kids – or at least their nicknames! And it’s also my brand… Hi, I’m Lydia. I’m a multifaceted queer mama creating unapologetic art that feels all the feels + has all the colors. I’m all over the place – but that’s ok. I’m human and I’m learning to embrace that messy me because there are a lot more of us than not. While on maternity leave with my second little during a global pandemic, I decided I needed something to help me feel alive – or at least more inspired than the world was leaving me feeling. So I picked up my iPad and decided to start lettering. I make designs that relate to my life and express my thoughts. Some are fun or silly and others are heavy, but they’re all from the heart. I put these out into the world in hopes that they’ll touch someone else in a positive way – help them feel less alone, inspired, loved, valid, empowered. If you’re here, that just might be you <3
