From Wall Street to Franchises Our CEO, Kal Gullapalli, spent seven years on Wall Street before discovering his passion for franchising in 2016, starting in the fitness and wellness space. After a strategic pivot, he sold that business and focused on turning around underperforming brands, building the operational discipline and leadership muscle that would later fuel expansion into foodservice. By 2023, Kal had become one of the largest franchise operators in his category, earning national recognition from the International Franchise Association for both performance and leadership. A Leader Who Scales and Cares Kal’s approach to growth goes beyond unit count. He builds infrastructure first, investing in strong operators, training coaches, and support teams that raise the bar for both team members and guests. His leadership is grounded in early lessons, from working his first pizza job at 17 to being raised by immigrant parents who believed deeply in ownership, grit, and opportunity.
