Housing Industry Association (HIA) is the official body of Australia’s home building industry. As the only national industry association for Australian building professionals, we represent the interests of the housing industry at regional and national levels. Our extensive membership program supports residential builders, trade contractors, developers, design professionals, kitchen and bathroom specialists, manufacturers and suppliers. We have been supporting the Australian home building industry for more than 60 years.

The ABCB is a Council of Australian Government (COAG) standards writing body responsible for the National Construction Code (NCC) which comprises the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA). The ABCB is a joint initiative of all 3 levels of government in Australia and was established by an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) signed by the Commonwealth, States and Territories on 1 March 1994. Our mission is to address issues of safety and health, amenity and accessibility, and sustainability in the design, construction and performance of buildings.

Master Builders Australia speaks on behalf of Australia’s building and construction industry. It is the national voice of nine Master Builders Associations in each of Australia's states and territories. Master Builders represents the interests of more than 33,000 building and construction businesses including Australia Stock Exchange (ASX) Top 200 companies, major private construction companies, commercial builders and residential builders and thousands of small and medium firms. Master Builders stands up for the industry which builds the homes, schools and hospitals we live in and depend on and the infrastructure which is essential to more liveable and connected communities. Australia's building and construction industry is the nation's third largest employer, employing more than a million Australians and training more apprentices than any other industry. Building and construction has always been vital to Australia's future and has never been more so as Australia faces up to robust economic challenges.
