The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) was established in 2002 to develop a sustainable property industry in Australia and drive the adoption of green building practices through market-based solutions.
To drive the transition of the Australian property industry towards:
-Sustainability - by promoting green building programs, technologies, design practices and operations
-Integration - of green building initiatives into mainstream design, construction and operation of buildings.
To achieve these objectives, the GBCA runs the Green Star environmental rating system, education and advocacy efforts in sustainable building practices, and events on the national and international levels.
Founded in 1981, CFMA is the only organization dedicated to providing construction financial professionals with unparalleled career development and networking opportunities. Along with publishing the award-winning CFMA Building Profits, CFMA offers educational, professional, and connection programs through its more than 90 chapters, Annual Conference, and online learning to more than 11,000 members. CFMA members are CFOs and controllers working at major commercial construction contractors in general, specialty trades, residential, and heavy construction sectors, as well as those professionals who service these industry financial professionals, such as accountants, surety agents, bankers, and IT specialists.
