Building Pictures Information

We are Building Pictures – an architecture film and podcast producer. Our ambition is to bring people closer to architecture. We help architects create a better world, with one film and podcast at a time. From 2013 to 2023, we produced more than 300 short films, collaborating with several Portuguese and international architects. Furthermore, we also cooperate with numerous institutions linked to the valorization of Portuguese Architecture. Often, our short films are selected to be part of film festivals and architectural exhibitions: from Porto to Istanbul, to Venice, or even to New York. The Building Pictures films have traveled the world. The films are also regularly featured in various publications, both nationally and internationally, on platforms such as Domus, ArchDaily, Dezeen, Arquitectura Viva, among many others. This year, 2023, we are committed that our films and podcasts creating a kind of laboratory of the future where – through conversations and specific projects – our partners, clients, listeners, followers, and friends, will be able to discover solutions that have been found globally. All of this without ever losing connection with the Portuguese reality.
