Building For The Future Information

Building for the Future is a Berkshire based, parent led charity providing activities, support and therapy for children with disabilities and/or additional needs and their families. We are based at Our House, our own fully accessible play centre, where families can meet, and all children are celebrated. Building for the Future launched BFTF Plus in June 2021 to support young, local, disabled adults who have left school or college in working towards achieving their ambitions. We run regular workshops and social events. We also give individual advice and support for young people who want to access work, education and cultural opportunities. As a charity we are totally dependent upon fundraising and donations to enable us to run and maintain Our House, provide activities, therapies and events, and to support the families who use our facilities each year.
