Behind Building Communities is a dedicated working group with participants from Denmark and Guatemala. We want to contribute to more sustainable living for local communities in Guatemala and our shared planet. We do this by supporting the restoration of forest landscapes, the creation of kitchen gardens and the start-up of cooperatives. Common to all our projects is that they aim to strengthen unity and cooperation, for example when starting cooperatives in Guatemala or when schoolchildren in Denmark collect money for planting trees in Guatemala on Schools' Exercise Day.
