Owners Iain and Louise Hedges found the approval process arranged by a local draftsperson very lacking in professionalism and knowledge, and as a result almost had their application in council refused. At the 11th hour they took on their own approval and managed to obtain permission to build. They realised that the market lacked a 'one-stop shop' which understood and could manage all the different requirements involved in obtaining an approval for building development. The business has grown from strength to strength and now relies largely on referrals from satisfied clients, and covers a range of all residential and many commercial projects.
