Bugseye is based in Sydney and provides products and services to government and business clients across Australia. Directors Steve Harvey and Leanne Copping founded Bugseye in 2003. Steve Harvey has a background in financial journalism and corporate affairs working for The Australian newspaper and for Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton. He has run his own graphic design agency and has spent the last 10 years working with data and information to offer a range of business solutions including Pinpoint and the Australian Business Atlas. He is a member of Economic Development Australia, the national professional body for eonomic development pratitioners. Leanne Copping has more than 20 years experience working in journalism, public affairs and marketing roles for government at all levels. Leanne is responsible for stakeholder consultation and communication and business research. Her expertise is in traditional consultation techniques, online consultation and other social media, strategic communications and issues management. She is a member of IAP2, the International Association for Professional Participation, which seeks to promote and improve the practice of public participation or community engagement. We team up with other consultants when required to bring in the additional resources or specific areas of expertise required for specific projects.
